How to read this catalogue
Same valley, three ways in.
You do not need a degree to start here. Diplomas and higher certificates open the door to the bachelor degrees with credit recognition, and strong graduates move on to our postgraduate work.

Three-year professional bachelor degrees, NQF 7, with 480 credits and an industry placement in year three.
Diplomas
Two-year applied qualifications, NQF 6, for students who want to work with technology in the field sooner.

Every programme includes
Four things that are not optional.
Field weeks
At least one week in four on a working farm or packhouse, with a named mentor.
Applied data
Sensors, imagery and modelling taught with the messy field data, not clean sample sets.
Industry placement
A 12-week paid placement in the final year, arranged with one of our 38 partners.
Afrikaans or English
Every module is taught and assessed in both languages. You may change track between years.
