Twenty minutes from the first vine.
- By car — take the R310 from Stellenbosch towards the Helshoogte pass, turn into The Ridge, then Vaalblom Road. Visitor parking is behind the main block.
- By train — Stellenbosch station is 3.5 km away; the campus shuttle runs on the hour from 07:00.
- From Cape Town airport — 45 minutes via the N2 and R310. A shuttle can be arranged for open days.
- From the Hex River Valley — 2 h 10 min via Worcester and the N1; several students commute weekly with the field-week transport.

First Saturday of every month, 09:00 to 13:00. Tours, labs open, lecturers available, and no obligation to apply on the day.
